2.01: Any type of exploiting or any feature that gives you an unfair advantage is not allowed. This could include any modification to your game. Macros are the only exception.
Punishment: The player is automatically ejected and considered for further punishment as dictated by standard practice.
2.02: Angle glitching is not allowed. This is where a player uses a technique called “angle” to get height advantage.
Punishment: The player is ejected for the remainder of the game. The play is turned over at the spot of the foul, or given the yards if on offense. If caught multiple times, a suspension of up to 1 month may be given.
2.03: Each drive, the offense is limited to: 3 total of comebacks, slants, and/or runs. This is called the '3/3' rule, and both teams should be aware of this rule and keep track each drive. If inside the 10 on either side of the field, this limit does not apply.
Punishment: The down is reset and any yards gained are lost, plus a 10 yard penalty.
2.04: Any player who goes back 5 or more yards is an ineligible receiver.
Punishment: The play is reset and a 15 yard penalty is given.
2.05: During a force (4v5), the team with 5 players is not allowed to run the ball unless it is handed off.
2.06: Grounding by a quarterback is not allowed. This is where a quarterback throws an incompletion where it can not reasonably be received by anyone on the field.
Punishment: The ball is placed wherever the penalty occurred and the offense loses the down. If committed in their own endzone, it is a safety.
2.07: Illegal touching is not allowed. This is where a receiver or defensive back intentionally goes out of bounds to avoid being seen to gain an unfair advantage.
Punishment: 5 yard penalty.
2.08: Severe lagging is not allowed. If a player is lagging to the point where they are gaining an unfair advantage, 1 warning should be given about it by the other team.
Punishment: After that 1 warning, a player who continues to lag or stutter is ejected from the game.
2.09: Milking is not allowed unless it is done in the last minute of the 2nd or 4th quarter. Milking is defined as letting the play clock go below 10 before hiking while the game clock is running. The offense must make a genuine effort to move the ball up field; simply moving backwards and then throwing the ball away or out of bounds counts as milking. The offense is not required to score or to take yards the defense is giving up, and the defense is not required to tackle or make any effort at all — the offense is simply not obligated to take advantage of opportunities being given to them.
Punishment: The clock is reset to the original time and a 5 yard penalty is given.
2.10: Stacking is not allowed. Stacking is when a player stands on top of another player’s head to get extra height.
Punishment: 5 yard penalty.
2.11: Onside kicks are not allowed. Instead, during the 4th quarter, a team is allowed to request a 4th & 25 after scoring. The ball will be placed on their own 25 yard line, the down will be set to 4th, and no blockers are allowed and only 1 tight end is allowed.
2.12: Mercy rule is not required to be called unless a team is winning by 60 or more, or total points exceeds 70. Mercy rule can be called at any point once a team reaches a lead of 35 points or more. If a team does not take their mercy, they void it for the rest of the game unless it is required to be called. In the event a team reaches over 70, but the game is still within 8 points of being tied or a lead change, the game may continue until such a time that a team has both over 70 points, and at least a 9 point lead.
