RoSports Standards

1.01: Leaving while being the owner of a team will result in an automatic 2 month suspension along with a 2 month blacklist.

1.02: Illegal disbanding will be considered when a team disbands at their own request illegally. Disbanding is only legal once all games have been played in the current series with less than half being forfeits, or the team does not have any assigned games (during playoffs or off-season, for example). A 1 month ownership blacklist should be placed on anyone who illegally disbands.

1.03: Inactivity disbanding will be considered when a team is disbanded by league leadership due to inactivity. This can be for any reason related to inactivity, whereby they are not carrying out their duty as a team owner.

1.04: Forfeiting 50% or more of the scheduled games a team has in a series will result in a disband. The owner will be suspended for 2 months and blacklisted for 2 months.

1.05: Forfeiting any playoff game is grounds for disbandment, a 2 month suspension and a 2 month blacklist.

1.06: Ownership incompetence is a valid reason for a 1 month blacklist and a team disband if the offending member is the team owner. Ownership incompetence can come in many forms, however, most of the time it is when the owner has shown a basic lack of understanding of the league’s rules and regulations.

1.07: Abusing privileges is grounds for a 2 month suspension, 2 month blacklist, and a team disband if the offending member is the team owner.

1.08: If a team owner is suspended, blacklisted, or expelled, they will be automatically disbanded as a result of this. If the decision is later overturned, they may reapply for ownership through the normal candidate process.

1.09: If an unverified account exploits during a game, the team ownership present at the game must report who it was. If they refuse or claim to be unaware of who it was, they should be suspended for 2 months, along with a 2 month blacklist. If no team ownership was present at the game in question to take the blame, all ownership at the time of the incident will incur the punishment.

1.10: Any actions by any member of team ownership to sabotage the team they are playing for will result in a 1 month suspension and 1 month blacklist.

1.11: When a team is purchased, Providence RoSports must be informed and paid 20% of the purchasing price.

1.12: Ownership transfers are permitted, however the fee to do so is $5 or 715 Robux. This can be done during playoffs, but it be transferred to an already existing member of the team.

2.01: Contracts are only able to be sent and received if the sender/receiver has a donator membership.

2.02: Contracts will only be enforced if they are clearly written and not an obvious troll contract. If anything about the contract is unclear to the point of arguable voidability, it will be voided.

2.03: Giving players any monetary reward for playing for you without an official contract is suspendable. If caught, you will be given the opportunity to officialize the contract or receive a 1 month suspension. They may also opt to release the player. If the owner is shown to have been aware of this rule before violating it, they will be suspended without warning or a chance to fix it.

3.01: Gametimes can not be forced until it is within 2 days of the deadline. For example, if the deadline is on Monday, no forcing will be allowed until Sunday.

3.02: To decide who has advantage for a forced gametime, it should be counted each day that the team spoke in the thread and expressed availability. If the days available are equal, neither team should be granted a force.

3.03: Gametimes that can be forced between 7-10 PM EST. The gametime must be confirmed with 1 hour notice. You will not be allowed to force a time that is less than 1 hour away.

3.04: Once a game time is forced, it can not be changed without express permission from administration. Both teams are expected to show up and play at that time

3.05: Even with force rights, you can not force within an hour of another team's game. If a team already has a game at 7 PM EST, the earliest you can force is 8 PM EST.

3.06: By default, the team with the higher seed can force the use of their server. If they do not send their server before the scheduled gametime, it is whichever team sends their server first in the scheduling thread.

3.07: Each team has 10 minutes after the server is sent (if the server is sent before the gametime, then it is 10 minutes after the gametime) to get the required number of players into the server. If one team fails, they can choose to claim a forfeit win with ample evidence or prolong the delay to wait for the other team. If the other team gets enough players during this delay, the other team can not change their mind and claim a forfeit win, they must play at that point. If both teams fail to get enough players, they can choose to prolong the delay, reschedule, or both receive a forfeit loss.

3.08: No time delaying methods (timeouts, play clocks, etc.) count against either team during the 10 minute grace period. For any halftime periods given by the game, these can not be skipped unless both teams consent. If there is a vote provided in-game and it passes, the halftime is skipped regardless of the owners/coaches opinions.

3.09: The game can be delayed during these 10 minutes. However, once those 10 minutes are up, once both teams are eligible to play, the game should promptly start without more delay.

4.01: Playing while not having a verified Roblox account and/or not having verified through Double Counter will be a 1 week suspension for the player. If the player’s main account can not be located or found in the server at all, it will be a forfeit loss for the team.

4.02: 1 verified walk-on is allowed per team per game. This means the player is verified with a Roblox account and through Double Counter. A signed player playing on an account they have not verified will count as a walk-on, and can get that player suspended for 1 week for the infraction.

4.03: Exploiting is grounds for immediate removal from the game and a 6 month suspension. The team with the exploiter may forfeit unless they took appropriate action where they admitted fault, removed the exploiter, and made it clear they did not know the player was exploiting. In this event, the game can be redone if there is time within the deadline, otherwise it is still a forfeit. The exploiter's stats (season/all-time) may be completely erased.

4.04: Glitching is grounds for immediate removal. Depending on the glitch and what it does, different action will be taken. In every case, the player must at the very least be removed from the current game.

4.05: Both teams must say that they are ready before the game can begin. That being said, once a team has the legal amount of players, the game should be played without delay. If a team tries to play before both teams have stated that they are ready, the play should be reset/negated.

4.06: A single player can not play more games than the total number of regular season games. For example, each team has 3 games each week, and there are 4 weeks, you can’t play more than 12 games. The punishment is a 1 month suspension and a removal of the excess stats.

4.07: Admin abuse is strictly prohibited. Admin abuse is any inappropriate or incorrect usage of the commands. If this occurs while the game is in play, the player should be immediately ejected and can be suspended for up to 1 month depending on severity.

4.08: Alternate account knowledge/utilization by any member will require a 2 month suspension and a 2 month blacklist.

4.09: Intentionally allowing the other team to score, gather stats, or prolonging the game so your team may continue to gather stats, is strictly against our standards. Offenders can be suspended and have their stats for the season & all-time completely wiped as a result.

4.10: Sharing your Discord or Roblox account with another person is forbidden. This does not include buying/selling accounts, but only one person should be using the account at a time.

4.11: Possession of cheats is grounds for a 4 month suspension. If those cheats are used in a PFL game, it is exploiting, and is then classified by the 6 month suspension.

5.01: Submitting faulty stats is not allowed. Faulty stats are any stats that we can not read, are not from the correct game, or when the field or fields are not filled out correctly. The matchup will be reset the first time with an opportunity to resubmit. If there are no eligible stats, the game must be replayed. If there is no time for the game to be played due to deadline, the matchup will be a double forfeit loss.

5.02: Stats must be submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled game time OR by the deadline if the deadline is less than 24 hours away. If the stats are already submitted at the time of report, but were 24+ hours late, the forfeit loss should not be given.

6.01: Staff are capable of making mistakes. They can give bad advice. It is the responsibility of the player to make a ticket, not DM staff, and get the answer to their question from more than one staff member/higher-ups. It is recommended to follow our rule documents primarily over any staff recommendation.

6.02: If a staff gives you permission to do something that you are not allowed to do, you are not immune from punishment. This is calculated on a case by case scenario, but just because a staff member said it was okay, does not always mean it’s okay.

6.03: Abusing any staff privilege is grounds for expulsion of at least 1 month, and up to 6 months.

7.01: The playoff signing deadline is posted on the league schedule announcement, with a warning on the last series before the deadline, and a warning after that deadline has passed after that series. You may pay to sign someone late, the price of that will also be posted on the schedule announcement after the deadline has passed.

7.02: You are required to have a certain amount of regular season games played. That number will be 25% of the total amount of games a singular team is given for a regular season. For example, 4 weeks with 3 games for each team. That total for the regular season is 12, thus each player is required to have 3 games recorded.

7.03: In positions where the player does not record stats, and thus not games played, will be given an exception to the game requirement rule.. That said, they must remain at that position throughout every playoff game they play.

8.01: While it is the mission of Providence RoSports to have prizes that reflect the size and revenue of each individual league, a league is not required to have a prize.

8.02: There is not a set deadline for when a prize payout has to occur. Traditionally, it will be at the end of the month. If the end of the month is less than 2 weeks away, it will be at the end of the following month. This makes approximately 6 weeks the “latest” a prize will be paid out.

8.03: The prize is evenly split between all winners of the final game. The winning members are determined by the administration. We take it case by case, the only requirement is they must have played in the final game(s), but that does not mean they are guaranteed prize payout eligibility.
